This is a very nice Lune poem with great imagery. Thousands of years of history on war and we have learned nothing. How can we be so advanced in technology and weaponry, yet we have not evolved one iota concerning rational diplomacy. Good luck in the contest.

This is a great entry for the Lune Poetry prompt. As always, the Short syllable count is challenging. But you have done very well with this verse. Your nuclear theme is well presented. Good luck!

I have often wished that we could forget how to build the bomb. I like how you put it--"unlearn the knowledge." And I absolutely love the humor and irony of your last line. This should be a monostitch entry. That conclusion is absolutely perfect. It certainly fits in this competition, too. Good luck. I would not be surprised if you win.

That would be good but I'm afraid that, rather like the Greek myth of Pandora's Box, once the evils and pestilences have been set free, they cannot be put back. In her case, there was one precious gift that was released at the same time - hope! Good luck in the contest.

Hello, good luck with this well-written verse. It is certainly stating the truth and you've published it so effectively with that great picture, and the words in the picture are oh so true.
