How lucky you are to have family willing to care for you. My mother lived with us for five years before her sister and my sister convinced her to move into a condo. Your move sounds a lot more smooth than mine.

Suggestions:
Arriving at the home there were two friends who helprd (helped) unload my possession(s) and got my bed and recline (recliner) chair in place.
My son in law is a real keeper as he prepares all the meals. He makes a dish of stir fried vegetables that are(is) so delicious and are (is) to die for.

Lovely account of your move to your new home. Sounds like everything is going well. Probably the cost of the hearing aid will depend on how bad the hearing loss is. My husband has some loss, not very extensive, and wears a hearing aid that fits behind the ear. I don't thing they're too expensive. It's nice that you have found a church that you wish to belong to, as that's important to you. You'll probably make new friends there, too. Glad things are going so well. judi
