All I could think of is "Ain't it the truth though?" (smile)----If only our bodies stayed where our minds feel we should be! I look in the mirror sometimes and think who is THAT woman? I feel thirty! Sadly (or fortunately as I'd rather not be dead) I'm more than twice that! (LOL)

Wow! This is extremely awesome. Love the image, your words and the idea behind them. It's hard to come up with a one line poem that really stand out...yours did.

Comment from Mary Hollingsworth
Pam how well said wouldn't it be marvelous and absolutely wonderful if the two could be on the same Orbit. Yes the artwork is very complimentary to the poem and sets the atmosphere for much thought.

Yes indeed the body and mind do work in different realms with the mind having a much wider stretch.
Excellent one line poem and I wish you the best in the contest.

This is an interesting and thought provoking poem you've penned here. I like the message here and how you've brought it forth in so few words. The body indeed is planted here but not so with the mind. Well done Pam!

What an excellent entry in this one line poem contest, our mind dwells on fantasy. There's a parable that says, "things seen are temporal and passing away, but things unseen are eternal." Therefore, what is reality?. Well done, good luck, Pam, blessings, Roy

Wow! This is profound and beautiful Pam, if I may quote Milton, ""The mind is its own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven." As you so wonderfully said, "Mind orbits the star of fantasy,"-because only the mind has the capacity to imagine; I thank you for sharing.

Very interesting, I've often thought about how our body feels like the earth is flat when we know it's a sphere. I think these two orbits you speak of define the human condition.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. - Ecclesiastes 3:11
We have eternity in our heart/mind but our physical body plants us in time. But there's the yearning for more ...always
Well penned
God bless

Your One Line Poem has already won the contest if it was up to me to decide. This line is so profound. The mind, a free spirit, roams in realms far beyond the body, and although the body houses and feeds the mind, that free spirit would never transport the physical body to the realms the mind travels to.
