I've received numerous requests from the NRA to join their membership. I don't know why we need this organization when we have the Constitution. Of course, when the Constitution was written, rifles and pistols had just one shot, then took about a minute to reload another single shot. What would our founding fathers say now? Good luck in the contest.

I'm not going to rain on your NRA parade. I don't own a gun . I'm from New Zealand. But no matter how much you ban guns..the killers who don't care a fig about the rules will get their hands on one. And why do we wring our hands and try to move a mountain of legislation up a very steep hill? Do what I did and homeschool.

Your point is well-made, and the public seems to be coming around on strengthening gun regulations. To get closer to what you're praying for, we'll need a groundswell of determined opposition to the NRA and the politicians in its thrall.

After the Parkland shooting, people were saying when, and not if there would be another mass shootings.. Here we are again talking about the issue of gun control yet again.
The question becomes how many lives must be lost before something is done!
Of course, thoughts and prayers are needed, but additional actions must also be taken.
