Hi Misty. I enjoyed reading this chapter of your story. Love the character of Matilda. I suggest one change here:
"He grabs his privates as he falls. (put a period here - delete to the ground.)
The killer smacks him across his back. He tumbles to the (change floor to ground).

Now I'm wondering who is going to believe that poor ol' granny could actually do any real harm to a grown man. I'm sure they will need a lot more evidence to make any charges stick, especially after she gets to tell her side of the story, which she'll tell much differently. LOL! Thanks for sharing. :-)

I hope to God, this is not the end of Granny? Anyway I like the scenes with the officers in their banter among themselves. It made them seem normal and likeable, and also gave the story some atmosphere.
Madelia(???) is tidying her room when she hears a knock at her door. "Yes?" She turns to see who it is.
Setting her cup on the table, she pulls ice trays out of the mini fridge.~ Awwww, I so wanted to read how she makes that "tea" of hers and how she gets it into her stick!

Thank you so much for your fantastic review I am honored by such high marks. Oh no, Granny is far from done yet. How she gets out of this is rather clever. You can't outfox a fox, lol.
She uses hot water because it decreases air bubbles, making the ice stays solid longer. She takes out the lining of styrofoam, aluminum foil and freezes it with the ice. When the ice is done she snaps the lining in place then loads the ice into her gun. The vinegar baking soda removes blood stains from the wood.

I had fun reading the part about the conversation in the police station, and then how good you wrote about Granny on her rampage trying to make accuses to the police officer catching her in her vicious act of getting ready to kill another

Finally, Granny got caught in the act. That cop had guts. Most cops might have assumed the man had attacked Granny and she was only defending herself. In fact, she should say that. She's a "helpless" old lady after all. :)

Thank you for your kind review. Oh, don't worry Granny is going to play the sympathy card really well, lol. Make the cop feel like a heel. Grandma used to do that to me when I was little. It was worse than getting spanked.

Good solid chapter here, and Granny is on the radar now. Although 'deadly weapon' for a cane may be a bit strong.
His long greasy hair hangs- maybe some commas in here.
She lets go of her cane it clank to the ground.- this is a run on, also should be clanks.

Shouldn't I use a semicolon since it clanks to the ground is a complete sentence or am I wrong again?

Yeah you can use a semi-colon or full stop there.
