Summer can certainly make you feel like you're melting. I found some frozen custard today. It's amazing and my freezer is ready for summer, but I can't say the frozen custard will still be there. Great job

I loved the poem from the picture forward... I laughed out loud, with a good belly laugh... that picture in and of itself, to me, is hysterical... the poem is playful, but yet I think holds a meaningful message... I feel as though you were really saying that you love the beach, and your body and soul could figuratively melt into the sand because of the book and beauty that surrounds you... Exceptional! I love it!

Kerry isn't it wonderful when you can go to a nice tranquil place and relax and let your thoughts Run free and allow your writing to just float on paper. Or better yet, either read a good book and let your imagination run free. And I see that your place is the beach, but my favorite place is a nice quiet spot on the back porch with a screen on it by the way. No bugs just nice breeze and I'm good with that. A very good haiku makes a good statement without trying to figure out what you're saying.

Thank you so much, Mary, it is lovely, a back porch with a screen sounds lovely too, I hate bugs, lol This is just a regular 5-7-5, a Haiku so you know doesn't have capital letters, nor punctuations. I appreciate your kindness. Enjoy your day!
