I'm sad that I nearly missed this - what sage words - we do rush through life, and with a little planning, a few deep breaths, it is completely unnecessary. But even worse are the expectations and demands we put on others in our haste, our hurry - what a wonderful poem, Ronni. Words to live by!

This poem is so well written and reminds us that we should be willing to wait patiently upon the Lord. So often we are running way ahead of God or we are reluctantly lagging behind Hos time for us. Patricia

I agree with your poem wholeheartedly, I am retired and still live my life in haste and there are never enough hours to do everything and I find myself struggling to please everyone and I leave myself last on the list! Your poem is faithful and hopeful Ronni, love Dolly x

Thank you for sharing your spiritual poem filled with social commentary. I admired your focus on our desire for instant gratification and the resultant "false bait". Cheers- Joan

Hello Ronni, this is quite captivating in its expression of faith and your observations of life. We do live in a bit of a hurry-scurry world, and I liked the way you juxtaposed that with taking a ticket and waiting in line. Nicely done. I also love the ending, so positive and uplifting. Good job with this verse, a definite recommend, and thanks for sharing it, Ana.

Very touching and beautifully written. I agree so much with you. We are in such a "hurry up and wait" society and we expect God to answer our prayers immediately. I'm sometimes impatient and guilty myself! Loved your message!

This is a very nice and well written poem you have penned. God is truly in control of it all! It is His time and we do have to have patience and faith in Him. Sometimes it is hard, but so worth it! Thanks for writing! love, Teri
