This is clearly "gallows humor" and I am tempted to a "gallows laugh" This is probably done more than we would like to think. It is a tragicomedy. At least they have one more (possibly the last) item on their bucket list checked off checked out with a smile. Cleverly written.

LOL - now this is one poem I don't want to be evocative. Those are mental images that one won't be able to erase ever, even if dementia should set in, methinks. HAHAHAHA! VERY cute senryu. Best of luck in the booth.

Author, Such a funny job with the Apocalypse No, as I am guessing a reference to marlon brando? He was such a handsome man back in the day and real rebel too, which is likely why he took Viagra to the seniors centre. lol. Excellent contest entry and I wish you the best of luck.

Not the classic form, but hey! This poem has a very interesting message. It refers to an activity that undoubtedly occurs, given the obsessions of American males. And it expresses a very human reaction. We ARE all crazy in the US, aren't we?
