I like how you explained the different aspects of Judaism. In a few short paragraphs, it feels like you've given a good over-all perspective. Anderson is getting a good idea of what his life would be like married into a conservative Jewish family.

It's a Mother is a huge way. We have two cats and they are fun but interesting.

LOL, poor Shana (at the end)! Cute chapter has a little of everything, with some interesting info in the beginning, and also moves the story along. I saw no errors and only have a couple minor suggestions -
"I agree." Susan set her fork next to her plate. "Are you going to sell the penthouse?" - "... penthouse[[, Anderson]]?" (to let us know who she's talking to?)
"That being said, Dad, I was hoping [[you had - you'd have some?]] suggestions."
How many bedrooms[[, - delete comma]] do you think...

I like the fact that you had some explanation of the Jewish faith in your story, it's interesting to me and not something I know very much about. Your story is flowing well, Shana is certainly kind of an innocent but she is an engaging character.

I know I'm jumping into this really, really late, but now that I'm back and
trying to carve out at least an hour a day for fanstory, I wanted to be sure
