Hi Chrissy, this is a delightful piece of work and ideal for the contest. Well rhymed with good rhythm and you have packed into this poem all the roles a mother plays throughout the life of her children. There does not seem to be anything you have left out and the whole is a really good read. We've all been there, done that, as they say. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy xx

A great job Christine, you captured the essence of Mother's day and are absolutely correct, every day should be Mother's day for all that we do through their life time. They never ever grow too old to not be our baby. Very well done, thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Hi Ary, Thanks so much and yes my baby turned 30 this year and we had a great celebration for him. My daughter is 38 and other son 34 wow where did those years go . I love writing about them Cheers Christine ( PS no more driving lessons though LOL yaa )

Hi Yvonne, Thank you for this review and I am pleased you identified with my words and yes I would so it all again too my kidas are my world I have One daughter 38 and two sons 34 and 30 and 4 grandkids so lucky all round .Cheers Christine

A very well-written poem in honor of mothers and mother's day. I always say the same thing. A mother does everything every day for their children, and her work never comes to end until she dies.

Not surprisingly, mothers here in America do much the same things as you do Down Under, except, inmost cases, for the tents and cricket.
