A sweet poetic commentary on the never ending to-do lists that mothers have -- and how she accomplishes the carried and sometimes harried tasks befitting of moms. I got tired just reading it! I love the way in which you start from the beginning of their lives and take the reader for a journey through time! Well done!

I love this wonderful rhyming poem about motherhood. You are right, being a mom is a 24 hr a day , 365 days a year lifelong prospect..and I wouldn't have it any other way.My adult daughter who lives on her own asked me why she always has to call me to let me know she got somewhere safe. " im s grown woman mom" she says. I have to explain once again that she'll always be my baby. Thanks for sharing this delightful poem.

You capture the many ordinary tasks that make motherhood (and fatherhood) so wonderful. My wife and I haven't hit the grandparent stage yet, but we've done most of the rest. The two oldest are in college and the youngest goes off to college in a couple of months, so we were very grateful to have all 3 at home yesterday for Mother's Day - we took in a baseball game and enjoyed family time.

Hi Mark, Thanks so mich for stopping by for a read and yes both hoods are busy ones Well you have a lot to look forward too being a grandparent is so much fun . My eldest is 38 with 4 daughters My other sons are 34 and to be married next March and my 'baby is 30 married but no kids as yet . So we have plenty of fun when we get together. My mum is 83 soon and doing OK . Cheers to you all also . We are in the throws of our football season My team Richmond won last year and doing well this year on top of fhe ladder still. Christine

Hi Jeffrey, Thank you for reading and reviewing my Busy mum poem and yes motherds day is everyday and I love being a mum and love my mum I think I have had a great role model. It is easy to write about something that one can identify with and although this was a little busy it was written with a smile of all the things I have done and would do again in a heart beat Many Cheers Christine

(She's with our elder daughter in Brisbane at the moment, she says it's her turn!) Hi Roy, Oh Thank you kind sir for your exceptional rating and six stars, and yes Elaine and I do have lots in common a great family plenty of love to share around I hope Brisbane is a fun trip and much sharing.
