This has a lot of potential to be an engaging story about handling the wheel of a boat in ugly weather. I'm afraid that your grammar and spelling mistakes got in the way of enjoying it. There was a lot here, but a bit more reorganization might help. I was also left hanging a bit. Obviously you survived, but what, exactly, really happened? You use a lot of metaphors, which help to tell the story, but they seem to be placed haphazardly. Keep working on this story--there is a lot here that could form an exciting tale.

This story is old home week to me. My father (Cap'n,) would launch his 32 ft Cruiser out of Miami area and take it to the Bahamas. This story brought back memories of Atlantic excursion. Thanks and thoroughly enjoyed. yours, diana

Thanks! Maybe I should write about our adventure with a storm in the Gulf Stream. That is when I thought people might die.

I am actually penning a Cap's Don poem about one of his adventure and the mishaps that ensure.
Frank I would love to read a poem about the Gulfstream... write away.

Will do - my story was fun. The Gulf Stream certainly was not.
