Hi Bill. I'm back now that (hopefully) the yukky stuff is overwith. Great job with this won. Cute and clever. We are into sponges now. I can handle that I think. Marilyn

Right I'm in! I'll just sit 'n soak it up. I'll just brush off the critics and keep the suds
in my bubble bath frothed up . (Note to self) Ignore alien form and keep washing. cheers Cass

Hahahahahaha. Yeah, too right, Bill. We sure can begin 'the absorbing story of the lowly sponge'. I love it. You have such a wonderful imagination. A great 5-7-5poem. All the best. Ulla:))

Lol. I like the word play of the "absorbing" story. I wouldn't know how to do dishes without my sponge but because it can hold bacteria, I make sure to change them frequently.

This is my kind of student, a blank slate ready to absorb a world of knowledge. If he makes a mistake, he cam just wipe the board clean and start again. How can you go wrong with a guy like this?

Haaaaa, well you sure didn't pick the most attractive sponge in the ocean, Bill. But I guess vis-à-vis the life of sponges this is as good a sink sponge as you'll ever find.

Most witty poem.

She's kin of a plain jane this one, probably not the most popular sponge in the sea. Lol. Love the "punish" nature of your poem-clever and funny.

Some say it's a 'pun'ishment to read it.

Reviewers will really be soaking up your sponge series. Fun play on the word "absorbing." This is fun, and you always come up with some good artwork. Don't forget to mention my late uncle, who used to sponge off the family. He was pretty low. You have your 5-7-5 syllable count down correctly. judi

Lovely I was completely absorbed by the tiny sponge. In my case it would have to be a mattress sponge. Ha.
I'm hoping to read more about the sponge in the future.
