This is a very humorous contest entry and it rhymes except for poem and broken in the last stanza. That being said, I do think rhyming poems are supposed to make sense and the rhyming words have meaning to the poem. Good luck with the contest.

This is a light but meaningful poem. It just goes to show that any topic can be one for a poem. I like the flow and your rhyming scheme worked, I think, as you would have wanted it to and you make a point.
