Yes, MelB, I am grateful that Shaw stopped a mass shooting in progress which could have been worse. Since then, he has raised $175,000 for the four victims. Thank you for your review.

Thank you, Harry, for your review. After I wrote the poem, I searched FanArtReview for a picture to post with it but only found pictures of soldiers and hunters. I Googled a search for penis+gun and found Jones' perfect cartoon I could use for $15.00.

Yes, evesayshi, these mass shootings and terrorist attacks are going to keep happening for a while. Shaw urges people to find the hero within themselves to stop such attacks and not wait for a savior. Thank you for your review.

Yes, J., I kept telling my friends, "Wasn't it odd that an unarmed, clothed man stopped a naked man with a gun?" Finally, I wrote this poem about it. I love the cartoon so much that I paid $15 for permission to use it. Thank you for your review.

Hi SC, this is a great social comment on the gun control debate. However, as a poem, I thought the rhythm and flow could use some TLC because the lines read a bit like prose. I know you wanted to keep the quotes intact, so I am not sure how to improve the rhythm at the same time. I like you conclusion about heroism in the world involving a degree of risk.

Oh, thank you, Kleck, for your review. By serving himself to survive, he saved the lives of others who were still in the Waffle House. Reinking's shooting would have continued if Shaw had not stopped him.
