A fine triolet and the superb artwork framed your fine piece. I got my eyes on you, blind as they are. I am a sight impaired writer. Artwork means a lot to me and is eye candy for those like me with low vision. It sets the stage for the crowing piece of the work.
Enjoy your sixer.

Oooh so I have ALL this to look forward to haha
Sorry you got there first otherwise it would be ME doling out advice and that's NEVER good hahaha
Loved your take on the realities of being a parent to young hormone charged individuals in this day and age of absolutely "anything goes". BTW don't EVER type that into your computer as a Google search LMAO
The reiteration of the main annoy factor peppered through this poem is in direct line with your frustrations at living the nig...oops I mean dream. Yeah, dream.
Love your work lady!
Now, I'm gonna slap you and your daughter, big time...
with a sixer haha

Never having a daughter, I missed that pleasure! lol. My mother went through it twice though, I never believed her when she told me I was a nightmare! Moi?? Just think though, when she is past her late teens, she will become your best friend. Something to look forward too. Well done, Debra, you've come of age, too. :)) Sandra xxx

Debra,
I wish I could say that I can't relate, but with three kids, I think I've seen my share. *smile* But I WILL give you a fab tip that someone gave me years ago, that helped keep my sanity. They told that it's EVERY OTHER YEAR.
If you stand strong about your rules and expectations, regardless of the tears and tantrums, they will finally understand. They get the strength to fight back about a year later. This knowledge helped me soo much - I can last through anything for a year, you know? I knew it had a end. *smile*
The poem was well-executed. One of the best triolets I've seen all week. Kudos!

Wow, that's pretty early to start the raging hormones -hope you all live threw the adolescent years-haha. I am battling out my second time over raising 2 grandsons. A joy and a challenge well described in your triolet.

Oh Honey, I understand. My grand daughter is almost ten and we never know when the switch will be off or on. I keep telling my daughter to take a deep breath and remember what she was like at that age. Great poem and my prayers are with you. All you can do is love them and try to explain what is happening to their little bodies.
Very nice Triolet.

This triolet is absolutely spot on. Debra. You and I share the same challenges apparently. I have eight grandchildren, four girls and four boys and this poem has just described two of my girls and one of my young boys. The lines 1-4-7 are the same and lines 2-8 are the same. The end thyme is abaaabab. The structure is sound and the message is true and informative. Enjoyed.
