Great picture selection. I was struck with your new word distress and pressure. I thought this is very interesting and really understood the writer.

I am so sorry you have these days. I too suffer from depression. It is something that runs in my family. Once I went on meds, Cymbalta, I improved greatly. Cymbalta has been the best for as far as I can tell no side effects which had been a real problem with other meds. So I'm very grateful that though I am not always thrilled with the pham. Co they do try to improve drugs. I do hope you will have many more good days than bad and if you need someone to talk to, please message me.

"Stressure"-----Man oh man...it ought to be a real world...especially because not one of us hasn't felt this oppressive cocktail of emotions! Listen....no suicidal thoughts please. Make a safety contract with yourself.... Write it like a poem...

"I will never harm myself because....."

I double dog dare you. You matter too much. You have too much talent. You are loved and respected.... You might not see that right NOW but I can guarantee you will NEVER see it if you die.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. I have lost FIVE family members to suicide.....it's like learned behavior...one hangs themselves, the next who gets depressed figures death is a viable option and so it's carbon dioxide poisoning...then pills....

I was near the edge...why wouldn't I take the jump when all these people who professed to love me deserted me? Now I speak out.... How selfish to take the easy way out!

You are strong, bright, and I will HAUNT YOU from this side to THERE if you ever
make THIS mistake.....

Come on friend.....bleed on the page in ink....that's what I do...that's what most of us here do.....

Karenina

Hello Dovemarie, I hope you are feeling okay today. I like the word you have created to express your state of being, Stressure, it's quite clever, even though the poem is sad, and speaks of a life that feels overwhelming at times. I saw no errors and found this poem a pleasure to read and review. I also liked the picture, Ana.

Do you think modern society is more stressful than primitive societies? By those I mean current day African tribes and Amazon ones also. I think they have a hard life but maybe it is not as stressful. I should also mention India. They have tigers. So, in those places that are vulnerable to attack by major predators, there would be stress for that. But, in their society, everyone knows what his/her place and job are in that society. Is it the introduction of money that creates the stressure? Thank you for sharing

This piece is genuinely applicable to the most part of modern life. I agree, you have discovered a new word, "stressure." Sorry that you had to overcome a lot of obstacles to arrive at this point. However, your genuine expression to this matter is both convincing and helpful to those who share that same burden. Thank you for sharing

I love your made up word and I think it should be a real word! Stressure should most definitely be in the dictionary! I'm so sorry you have been unwell, your poem is well expressed with some great rhymes! Love Dolly x

Yes, those give you quite a load of unpleasant feelings to deal with.
I wish you a most undisstressurized Spring and Summer. If that works, for the rest of the year, continue whatever you were doing in Spring and Summer.

A very well-written poem and a wonderful word you put together to show how much stress an pressure you feel with all the things around you happening at once. I can relate to that also today. I have too many things to do with no extra time at hand.
