How is a painting worth killing for? Shana doesn't even want it any longer. Time to forget it and move on with Drew and his kid. I love happy endings. :)

There is a reason for the the issues with the painting and it will come to light. Thank you for the kind review.

A Texan was born with a .45 bullet in his mouth replacing. teething ring. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

They all seem to be in a dangerous situation, a contract on their lives and all, but Anderson doesn't strike me as the type who doesn't cover all the bases. I mean, about heavy protection. I'm saying, against invaders. That kind for protection. And the covered bases are strictly for Shana's well being. LOL! Well, I hope I finally got my point across. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Poor, dear wounded Shana, things aren't quite working out for her at the moment, there's a hit been put on her, she's tried to renege on her claim of the painting, but the hit remains. An excellent story Barbara, the love story, albeit with difference, but as they say, love conquers all. Well done, my friend, blessings, Roy

Well this looks familiar. The reader was drawn into this chapter and stayed from the beginning until the end. Easy to read made this a pleasure.

This is going so well, and it deserves 6 stars from me. Poor Shana is so tormented. She thinks she is ruining things for others because of the painting and Anderson becoming involved. She even believes she's the cause of the Anderson business being in a slump. Now there is a hit on both of them. There must be more to the painting that Shana and her family realize. Anderson is really patient with Shana, but he understands what she is going through. She can become quite emotional at times. Great story. judi

You're very welcome. I have a feeling there is going to be another tense, threatening moment before the threat from the Russian I finally resolved. judi

You handled this chapter very well and covered lot of important information. I feel for Shana. I understand her feeling guilty thinking she caused Drew so much trouble. I wonder what the Russians are up to and if they will follow through with their threats. I look forward to the next post. I disn'r any spags or things that needed clarifying.

Hi, Barbara. Well written as usual. Yopu always manage to end up keeping the reader in suspense. That's a good thing.

Suggestions: "Zachery tilted back in his chair and the front legs lifted off of the floor." Instead of: " Zachery leaned back in his chair enough that the front legs lifted from the floor.

Also I know I have told you this before but Im feel I must reiterate:

Using the chapter numbers in German as you are is a very bad idea. Number, very few people can read German and number two you want people to know wher eethey are in the book so they can stay involved.

I mknow you don't believe me....but ask around and see what others (not your friend) say about it. Bless you, my frieend, Bob

You are the only person who has complained about it. In my next book I will change it, but right now, until I finish this book I am keeping it the same. I made the first change you suggested.

Barbara Barbara Barbara. I AM NOT complaining. LOL...You took this all wrong.. Sorry. Bob
reply by the author on 22-Apr-2018
Sorry, it works for me. I already have an idea for a change. I am going to use part of the title and then the numbers. I need to so when I copy and paste to edit. I can keep them in order. I have a new problem. My very first novel I posted on fanstory has been deleted, matter of fact, all my first novels have been deleted. My computer crashed and I don't have a copy of those. Do you know how I can get them from FS. I want to fix them.
reply by Mastery on 22-Apr-2018
Yes. Simply tell Tom you want them. They can give them all back to you.

As for the chapter numbers. I challenge you to show me one book in this country that has German language for chapter numbers. LOL (none)
reply by the author on 22-Apr-2018
Those numbers will NOT be in my novel, they are simply for FS so I don't get confused when I am coping and pasting them so I can complete more editing. They are NOT in my final copy... I guess I don't understand what the confusion is. They are only for me and not for anybody else. FS has it's own numbering system anyway.

You must ask yourself this, Barbara when you say "It works for me." Who are you writng this book for? Yourself? Or would you rather impress the readers who might buy your books someday? Promise. I will never mention it again ever. Bob
reply by the author on 22-Apr-2018
Like I said, it doesn't seem to bother anybody else. I doubt anybody really cares what I put in that area. And my latest book has had many FS fans buy it.

Another great chapter. IN the discussion about Kosher I was reminded about the Apostle Peter's dream when a sheet came down in front of him (he was a devout Jew as well) with all kinds of food on the sheet including pork, I think. God told Peter that nothing He has created is unclean. We are being served by a bunch of Muslim wheelchair taxi drivers atm they are lovely guys and not of the "Fundamentalist" kind. Have not sorted out the main guy's preferences on meat yet..as you know they are mostly the same about pork as the Jews. Just one possible miss? one of her family's stolen artwork(s?).

I will check that area out. Thank you.. I had a Muslim child last year, and he wouldn't eat pork.
