Ah, the werewolf lover can never be sated for long. Once morning comes he returns to his human self again. Come the next full moon he'll once again venture out for his next love ... his next meal. I think that romance and feeding may be pretty much one in the same for this species. :)
The werewolf twist is unexpected, JoAnn, and it surprises your reader. I like it! A lot! Move over Dean ... frogbook is here!

Ah, the werewolf lover can never be sated for long. Once morning comes he returns to his human self again. Come the next full moon he'll once again venture out for his next love ... his next meal. I think that romance and feeding may be pretty much one in the same for this species. :)

Lol. I don't think there was violence here - well implied but not described. Great job lulling us into a romance but then we realize it's from the point of view of a werewolf. (I'm guessing from the hair comment.) Another super write, JoAnn!

A flash writing describing the moment you find your soul mate! You have committed her face to memory, her lips moving when she talks, the freckles on her face, and eyes that seem unable to look away from each other! You are in awe of her, then she is suddenly gone. Nice job.

I like how you set the scene as the Speaker is excited to see his soul mate again. Someone in love would indeed memorize every feature of his lover's face. Then suddenly . . . the transformation and sudden violence. You do evoke sympathy for the werewolf lover. Well done in only 150 words.
