Disturbingly dense with "d's", despite its intent to please. (*grin*)
I had to write one with "p's", and I damn near dropped to my knees!
(You've done a remarkable job, you! LOL) (I really DID enter a prompt once, long ago, calling for the same letter to start each word. It was fun to write. :))))) They're NOT so much fun to read, though! Hahahahaha!)
Well done - good luck in the booth.

Thanks Dawn. The competition is over and I did not place. I thought I would dip my toe and try. Oh well, it was fun. ~DD

Now this is a very challenging task of poem but you followed through and you went from deserts to donkeys, dogs, daffodils. Well dreamer great job at following the contest request. Best wishes on the contest.

A fabulous alliteration poem. Love it all, but especially:
"Day's disinteresting duties done, daylight descends.
Dimming down drags darkness.
Dozing, disjointed differently deep dreams develop..."
and your clever synopsis of dreams, especially this one:
"dementedly demeaning dumbfounded dude~dumped!"

Excellent! I can only imagine how much time that took you to write that poem. I know first-hand that is not easy to do well at least for me it's not easy. You on the other hand make it look like you've been doing this for a long time. A delightful share.

Thank you so much Air Spirit for your very thoughtful review on my alliteration poem and for the sparkling six stars. I am very grateful. I enjoyed writing the poem. Thinking in alliteration can be easier than getting a rhyme right, I feel, so this was fun to do. Blessings to you : -)

This is a good entry for the contest. I am not much into alliteration, but you did a good job with your dees. Very entertaining read. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing.
