Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. You've got jokes.
I appreciate that you held true to form. You did a great job on that regard. I liked that it made me laugh out loud. There isn't anything I would change.

Hi There, I liked this 5-7-5 poem. The imagery is very stark. One minute the birds are there, the next they are shot dead. I hope you do very well in the contest. All the best. Ulla:)))

HELLO ARTASYLUM: I like your poem here because it reminds me of a poem that I wrote entitled: "Your Shadows On My Tombstone." In my poem instead of a blackbird and a raven, it is my loved ones, family and friends', shadows on my tomb stone. I haven't read many poems such as ours. I guess that's because poets tend to,"SHY," away from writing them. They're the kind of poems that some of us would rather not, "write home about." Seems as though it takes courage, ("GUTS.") To write poems like ours. And get people to like them and respond to them in a positive way. Hey, ARTASYLUM; we did it. They like our poems. "Atta girl," Let's write some more thrilling stuff about, "Tomb Stone Territory." It's fun. huh? rhonnie69.

Hello Friend,
Very witty! Poe would be pleased, too! I love the humor in your 5/7/5 offering! We need more humor...at least I do. However, I have to admit that I am not too fond of crows...but I love your poem!
Best Wishes

I agree Mrs. KT... the world is so serious right now and humor is so necessary. So I have no apologies for the birds. That "you love my poem"... means the world to me. thank you, yours, diana

A most ingenious, clever and humorous five-seven-five syllable poem about birds. You have not one wasted word, Your presentation is artfully and skillfully done. And, I really enjoyed the reference to Edgar Allan Poe. Best wishes.

I love me some Poe Victor... I'm finding there are a lot on this site who didn't get the reference to Poe one of favorite writers but liked it anyway. Thanks for your stellar review plus one I am humbled and grateful. yours, diana

You are most welcome, Diana. Perhaps Mr. Poe is an acquired taste. If you keep including this great writer in your work, some people may quite possibly discover him as well.

That is my goal... I read his collected works at least twice. yours, di
