I love that picture and a lovely poem to match .

In my country that bird is called a pettirosso ..it's a very territorial bird.

Yes at times in Italy we can still get snow in April ..

This is a such a great response to the 5-7-5 writing prompt. What a great entry for the contest. I am ready for spring, but I do agree that the "naked" snow-covered trees are beautiful. Good luck in the contest.

Writer beautiful picture with the little birdie perched on a tree limb. And to have snow in the Spring, I being a born Floridian cannot relate to that. But I know that some places in the world have to be cold and some like Florida nice warm weather. Although in this picture the trees were naked the scene of the snowy backed trees with the little birdie is still beautiful

That's my point, even though I long for spring, one has to live in the moment and enjoy. Thanks for your review.

Your poem, "Seasons" is delightful. Snow in spring seems a strange concept but it happens. It has the correct syllable count. It is presented nicely with that gorgeous picture. I enjoyed your poem.

I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 writing prompt.
Your short verse describes snow in springtime.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

Lovely haiku with the requisite reference to a season. :)
Technically, "Snow" should not be capitalized.
The poem's image is clearly defined.
Well done.

Hello nature writer: I like your work because I'm feeling you here. I get your witty message.
Our God's handiwork has always been life's beauty, and it always will be. As for the weather's condition, let us count it all, beautiful. We are blessed, in that by His Grace; undeserved favor, He allows us to "LIVE," to experience it. That's life. Let us, go on and enjoy it. This is good work that you've done here, nature writer. Thank you for sharing. rhonnie69

Hello!
Wonderful 5/7/5 poetic offering. And I can so relate as I just walked through a foot of snow to our bird feeders! And yes, there is a robin - a rather disoriented robin - who has decided that in spite of northern Michigan snow in April, he is going to stay! Your verse flows well, and I love the photograph of the robin sitting on forsythia branches. Best Wishes!
