Lovely artwork , that complements your poem very well. I can't completely understand what you mean to say, but that could be me. I see the last bit: a complete sentence or two fragments. That is well said. I don't get what semantics means.

Writer, writer after reading it from your response. I considered that maybe it is my phone that is giving me this bad reading of your words so I took away the four and give you A5 from what I read in your response. I love your artwork and it is beautiful. I considered that maybe it's my phone so I added the extra point after reading what you actually said on the response back to me. I'm a fair person. Thank you for sharing.

Not sure what device you're viewing on. No one else seems to be having any difficulty. It's even clear on my phone. In any case, I'm sorry you're unable to read it. Here are the words:

    Love is not semantics,
    your definition or mine--
    a complete sentence
    or two fragments ...

The style is embedding where the artwork is put into paint and then the type is added there ... more fonts, better presentation etc. Well ... usually. LOL Thanks for trying though. :))

Jeesh. I'm sure glad I happened to notice you changed your review. Thanks so much, it wasn't necessary, but I do appreciate it so much. Very kind and considerate of you. Now I'm worried that you won't notice this. LOL I hope my old brain will remember to thank you after the contest is over. Can't now, anon and all. :))

This naani, Not Words, A Kiss, uses twenty-two syllables and four lines to turn a statement of love inside out to see itself. The delivery of love is neither auditory or through osculation. Consistent affirmative, harmonizing, and inviting actions make relationships grow.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, you've hit twenty-two syllables for the contest prompt. An interesting clarification of the term "love". I believe love is love and I don't believe it falls in the category of an "alternative fact". Good luck.

Yes, indeed, love IS love as you say and well said. Maybe more action and less talk. LOL Thanks for the wise comments. :))

Some of these forms just escape me, but this is a most interesting and true, I think, observation. Who knows what anyone means when they talk of love. But a kiss, that speaks louder than words. Yes. I agree. NG

Well put, NG. A kiss does "say" it all. :))

I think this is a good entry for the Naani writing prompt.
Your short verse tells of your definition of love.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

Okay so I'm slow on the uptake....
I admit to reading it three times until it sunk in...(I am not often so obtuse)

Must have been that hint of grammar, I think I'm allergic....

IN the end, meanind assimilated I admired your message and LOVED your font.

A topic that calls for taking one's time, so no fault there. :))

    Thanks a million, Karenina.

I believe you deserve a six for the exquisite play of words here. It is an amazing read and the author managed to do just that in so few words. The writer did a good job in this work. Congratulations and good luck in the contest.

I really like the presentation. The words have lots of imagery. I must learn how to write this style of poetry. Good luck with the contest.

Thanks, Harry. This isn't too difficult really. Just a thought in four lines, make sure it's between 20 and 25 syllables. Sometimes we make too big a deal about some of these forms. I'm sure you'd kill it. :)) Anon
