This is so tragic. It is unfathomable. The response from the global hockey community has been amazing and the gofundme account is now over 7 million. The bus driver was also killed. At least one of the surviving players is paralyzed from the chest down. It hits so close to home as our Alaska Nanooks spend so much time travelling to their games. Several of our former players have connections to or once played in the league that the Humboldt Broncos are members of... I wrote an acrostic in tribute. It is the first time my husband has ever requested that I write a poem and send it off.
Prayers are sent and candle is lit.

This is so tragic. It is unfathomable. The response from the global hockey community has been amazing and the gofundme account is now over 7 million. The bus driver was also killed. At least one of the surviving players is paralyzed from the chest down. It hits so close to home as our Alaska Nanooks spend so much time travelling to their games. Hi Kim, thank you so much for letting me know...that must be awful for you as well...I can't imagine Kim what the families and friends are going through...I do know if I lost a child...that would truly be the end of me...I am so sorry for the one that is paralyzed...I hope they can help him walk...he is in my prayers...as well as all are...I will go read yours...tell your husband thank you...and you too...thank you sweet girl for a wonderful review...love you...Linda xxoo

I heard about it on TV just a few hours after it happened. As you said I can't imagine how all the families must feel even though we know that those who died are in Paradise.
This brought back memories of several years ago when a drunk driver ran into the side of a school bus filled with young kids in Carrolton, Ky. The gas tank on the bus exploded and 26 children and the bus driver were burned alive. The drunk driver never got a scratch on him.

Its an unimaginable tragedy and of course prayers will be said for the devastated families left behind.Thats not enough though..i believe there is a go fund me page set up to take donations for the families. This money will help with funeral costs. Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention.

God bless you for posting this call for prayer - for the rest of their lives, all affected will need comfort. There are now 15 confirmed dead, and 14 injured - only 1 released from hospital so far. God be with those survivors, the families and may the dead RIP.
