What a great supper! I like how Daniel has everything prepared. I wonder how the texture compares with beef steak vs. buffalo vs. venison. Seems like Daniel and Rachel have a lot in common.
Comments:
Grays was left out (Gray's) Wow! Gray gets a steak, too!

Did I miss the exchange of things? I wondered what Todd and Billy brought of Rachel's things. I didn't notice a bag or duffle etc.

Thank you so much Helen. Let's see of the three, beef is so much drier, then venison while bison is both tender and moister. I will fix that in a moment. Gosh darn I forgot as well so when I fix it I will also look, lol. Hugs and smiles.

I feel quite hungry now, Alie! lol. Well, I had a red MGB convertable, I loved it. That was a long time ago, I also had a blue one, a few years later, but when I had my sons, I changed to a 3.5ltr Rover automatic. That went sooooo fast! Loved my cars. Still do! Lovely chapter, my friend. I had a nice cookery lesson too! xxx Sandra

Thank you Sandra for reviewing. Wow, those would have been great cars and of course parents have to tone down and behave when little ones arrive. LOL I was hungry typing about it. Thank you for your great comments.

I enjoyed reading this chapter of your story. I like how you've tied up loose threads and not left detail out. Descriptions are excellent in that the reader feels drawn into the scene. Well done. Marilyn

Very interesting chapter, Aryr. It might be me just me, but I smell romance in the air.
Just a little thing:
When you wrote 'thanks this is supper tomorrow.', shouldn't there be some kind of punctuation after thanks?
Thanks for sharing.

It was hard to get into this segment, dropping in as i did in the middle of a longer piece, but the description is clear and the dialogue is good. Good luck with the book!

Ah yes! This man knows how to leave the meat to hang. Butchers are so terrified of poisoning people over here that nothing is hung long enough and is frequently lacking in taste as a result, particularly beef. We don't get a lot of venison over here.

A nice sense of cosiness is developing in this. That was a goods idea to make the youngster a bit shy. Perhaps he will grow out of that. I am intrigued to know how Daniel is so well off, private plane and MG. How does he earn I wonder.

"...Billy, I'll grilled them up, so you don't try to pan fry it." This should read "...I've grilled..." past tense not future.

Thank you again for reviewing and you provide such great comments. Ahaa way back when you were learning about Daniel, he used his scholarships and inheritance for Uncle George and established a legal business, he is a lawyer and made great investments and decisions. His business has many other lawyers working for him. All kinds of law practice. I know we have similar butchers here that don't know a thing about hanging meat, when you find one it is great. I grew up on venison, moose, bear, ground hog, fish, chicken and some beef. Thanks for finding the blooper. I am going to change grilled to grill. Again thanks.
