Oh, though I'm happy she's rescued by the best possible person in the world, I'm sad that she is preparing to go. This has been a life change experience. I would think a relationship between the two should be blossoming...

I like how your story is evolving. Your two characters introduced so far are developing nicely and we get to know them quickly through circumstances. Of course, Gray was a hit right from the start. I like how you have filled in the background information for your story through the conversation. Nice Job. Marilyn

This raised a point I had never considered before. Native Americans have there tribe so presumably have tribal loyalties. as I understand it the tribes were nomadic and so if their peregrinations straddled the border some could end up as US citizens and some as Canadian dependent presumably on place of birth and the "nationality" of their parents. How on earth do authorities in both countries sort this administrative nightmare out? This question is in no way intended as a criticism of this story. I am genuinely interested in the answer.

"Now that you are done your soup," Should this not be "Now that you are done with your soup"?

That is a great question. Many years ago, long before my time each tribe had to be registered and any birth or deaths. It has been ongoing since it was first introduced I believe in the late 1800s. Until 9-11-2001 A high number of natives were able to switch back and forth between countries, after of course it all changed. I for one am glad that I don't have to be in the immigration office trying to figure it out. I was smart enough to get my American nursing license and my green card when I came over, we shall see if I ever decide to become a citizen, for now I am happy being a Canadian living her legally. Thanks for catching that slip and will make the change in a moment. Thanks for the question and the review.

You exhibited s good effort in your literary writing composition. I appreciate your choice of topics. I am an Eskimo, and many Native American Indians are Original Alaskan Eskimos, but are not exhibiting the force to use with dignity and respect our proper Ethnicity. Now, as to grammar, you have several run-on sentences, and you are not separating properly name or topics which can and did confuse me, as your reader. When you employ yourself to correct your clarity of expressly differentiating your topics and characters, separately, you will have unCONFOUNDED, HA, HA, HA me.
Happy Easter.
