So beautiful Yvonne. All your words carefully selected and sewn together to make an enchanting poem. From start to finish the resolution of love is clear.

Great job and I believe I'm starting to understand the Triquatrain form a little better. Thank you so much for sharing. :)

A leprechaun, most likely, and old legends speak of them having pots of hidden gold.Looks like an excellent triquatrain to me, and definitely more tasteful than roadkill.

Wow, Yvonne, this is a beautiful poem. It has a dreamlike quality to it. He appeared like in a fairy tale and then disappeared. It really appealed to my imagination. It made me think of an elf. A wonderful poem. All best. Ulla xx

I was thinking elf, too, as I wrote it. I wish the meeting could come true. Thank you so much for this lovely review.

LOVELY! So sweet and entertaining. I feel a tone of innocence and an emotional calm reading this soothing poem. The rhymes are so musical and they sing of a love lost and of wishing to see that love, again. BEAUTIFUL! Check out mine and my 2 books, also. liberty justice

Perfect, Yvonne--a perfectly rhymed, well metered and smooth flowing poem.
Rife with fantasy and mystery, even we who are merely readers are left wondering who (or what!) this mysterious flutist might be.
In a word, brilliant.

That was lovely, Yvonne. I love the Leprechaun poem, and would love to meet one and be granted a wish!! LOL. This is a lovely rhyme pattern, smoothly written, with lovely rhythmical lines. The internal and external rhyme makes for an enchanting read, perfect for the subject. You certainly came up trumps with the potlatch challenge, my friend :) Sandra xx.

Yvonne,
This is an awesome response to the potlatch challenge. First of all, your picture sets the tone of that forest where fairies & other little beings may appear.

Your rhymes are super & sound awesome when read aloud. Your story flows well in a lyrical way, & gives readers a lot to think about. You leave readers with a feeling of mysticism. It would be great to return & see the little fellow again & maybe some others joining him.

Thanks for sharing an awesome poem. Jan

This triquatrain works very well indeed and flows beautifully. I got the feeling that, had you looked carefully on the ground after he had left, you would have seen the small cloven hoof-prints in the soil that Pan leaves behind him.

Hi Damommy, a lovely poem with a mystic tone. Lovely display with the mossy green emphasised as in your poem. Good rhyme scheme in abcb with good rhythm maintained throughout. Lovely read. Well done and a Potlatch challenge well met - warm regards Dorothy x
