Love this well written sonnet and your new word included in it. Great rhymes and flow and I so enjoyed your deep meaning here, sometimes we imprison ourselves, so true and this well deserves a six, love Dolly x

Good job on the sonnet :) Good iambic pentameter, fine rhymes, good turn, good closing couplet. A fine theme that works to highlight your word for the day. I have heard of absconsion before. "He absconded with the money."

Joy xx

A very clever and realistic poem using one of your new words, "absconsion". I highly enjoy going through your book with you. Good poetry is built on using many words and I'm learning from you! Thanks and well done!

I'm glad to have you along for the ride :) If I can remember a fraction of these words, the exercise will have proved worthwhile. Thanks so much for the kind words. Craig
