Oh... This is so evocative! Those whispers can be real, and very cruel. Thankfully, they're usually mere gossiping by envious people.

Sometimes, though, it's wise to listen, and your poem, as lovely as it is, puts me in mind of a horrible tragedy that just recently happened in my city. A much-loved friend and employee was discovered, along with her two of her three teenage kids, murdered by a boyfriend she planned to dump. The 'whispers' had surrounded her for months at work, her friends and colleagues sure he was not good for her...

Well done indeed! Best of luck in the contest. (Beautiful presentation, too!)

When the whispers come, we are forced to doubt, not a good thing. This is a really clever contest entry and the picture really gives out the right image. Well done, and good luck! :) Sandra xx

I think this is a good entry for the 3 Line Poetry writing prompt.
Your story of whispers causing doubt is clear and well written.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.

How lovely! The second line 'whispers carried by the wind' is a most wonderful way of referring to rumors and the like.
Your poem is an example of how beautiful language can be.
Good luck in the contest.
P.S. I love the picture. Dandelion clocks are so pretty!

Sometimes, one can't help but start to doubt the truthfulness of one's partner, especially when one has been away from them for a while, and ended up hearing things brought by the wind. We can only pray that such a thing will not happen to ourselves.

Ignore the gossip and believe your own ears and eyes if my motto, whispers often carry with them deceit. Good luck with the contest, best wishes, love Dolly x

The visual you chose is perfect for this statement that the 3 line poem says. I can so hear the whispers and the analogy of the dandelion pieces floating away are the whispers. Very Lovely and visual poem. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the Contest! Sherman541
