This is a very beautiful poem for St. Patrick's Day and the shamrocks. You used great words and lovely art work with the picture. I, too, am part Irish. Great job you have done my friend! love and blessings, Teri

A very well-written poem about the shamrock. I did not come across a four leave clover in my entire life. We have plenty of three leave clovers and I am always looking for a four leave but no lucjk. lol.

Nice poem, I particularly enjoyed the Irish imagery you included in it, it was very nice. I like the way it flows too. I loved Ireland, it's such a beautiful place, and I'd love to go back. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day

Hello!
Your verse is well-crafted and filled with so many visual and emotive images that I have of Ireland. I would so love to visit Ireland one day. As a child, I loved to read of Ireland. Of course, St. Patrick loomed high on my list as I attended a Catholic school, but aside from him, I have always thought of Ireland as magical... Thank you for sharing this lovely poem...

This is a lovely uplifting poem about your homeland. I am not irish but have visited several times and find the country and the people enchanting. Nice one Jen.

Dear jenintorre, I think you misunderstood. Ireland is not my homeland, but I'm half Irish, so I thought I'd write a poem about a country I was in for only an overnight, but I'd like to go there someday. Dove

You know the white cliffs of Dover are in England, but I suppose you could be travelling from them in your poem to Ireland, but it is a distance away. I'm glad you enjoyed your pilgrimage, love Dolly x

I'm 1/4 Irish and have never had the chance to visit the Emerald Isle...but I found your poem lyrical and sweet and lightly mused with a spirit and love for all things Irish that endears the poem to me! Very nice write!

Dear Karenina, I only spent overnights twice in the Emerald Isle, but I'd like to visit again and stay longer. I'm half Irish, and my poem came from things I have read about Ireland. Dove
