Comforting words indeed. My faith gets me through many trying times. I can't imagine a world without faith. I thank God for everyday, even though each day I struggle just to do small tasks. I'm trying to give it to the Lord, but some day are hard.

Patricia, I love your words. We must all live our lives as though they are about to end. That is one reason that I read your poetry. It helps to keep me focused. It is probably the same reason that you write it. Please keep writing for both our sakes. You have a blessed day.

Right you are. On him and him alone, do we all depend.
I remember my studies on religion and how "whites" used to refer to themselves as "from Christendom", until about 350 years ago when the Enlightenment brough it "classification" of everything from birds in the air to beasts, to fish to plants and - yes - to human being beings. That was when Europeans came up with the obviously false notion of white, red, yellow, black and so on as human "colours" belong to "races" - as if people were breeds of horses.
I wish I had a six left to offer you. Excellent thoughts.

I like the way you handled the rhyme in this. This is a beautifully expressed thought. Personally, I prefer to think of what's going in my life at the present time instead of thinking so much about when I'm going to die. As long as you're living, concentrate on living. You still have things to do. Just my thought. Lovely artwork. judi

Thank you for the nice review, I am not focused on death, just being a bit realistic about the end of life at almost 80/ I do have a lot I want to live for.

You're welcome. I think of what my vet said when I took my cat for her appointment. She said she had passed her sell-by date. Sometimes I feel like that. judi

Nice poem. I enjoyed it. It flows well and has a nice feeling. It's obviously very personal but the imagery is powerful and it flows well. Thanks for sharing this and Have a great day

Dear Pat,
I hope your life isn't ending too soon? You alarm your readers that don't know you and your health issues.
Your poem gave me peace until I read the second last line.

Thank you for the nice review, Joy. My doctor told me last week that I could live another 15-20 years, but at 80 i am being realistic.
