I think your story is deeply thought out and a great one for most people to read. I find it believable and poignant. You see to understand the depths of love yet make your character in need of that understanding. Great entry. The judges may question if you actually were at a famous persons place, but God's house is definitely famous and I would question them back if they do. Enjoyed your story.

I know that some folks may question whether God's house is a famous person's house, but I feel like everyone has heard of God, they may not know Him, but they've heard of Him. And, I consider God to be my very close friend... I talk to Him as though he's my friend.

You have a relaxed style, and the story was moving when we realize it's his father, and hear the advice he gives. I noticed no errors, and my only suggestion for improvement would be to re-work this section.

I think the less is more theory can be true for writing. Making every word count and not having too much excess, but that is a stylistic choice a writer makes. Thanks for sharing this story, which I found a pleasure to read and review, Ana.

I don't think I've read a more skilfully told spiritual story around this site for some time, although I'll admit I only read precious few inspirational and spiritual stories for luck of time.

You have crafted great story here, it is such a delicate story, which you tell with amazing, beautiful words. I don't think I've read a more skilfully told spiritual story around this site for some time, although I'll admit I only read precious few inspirational and spiritual stories for luck of time.
