Great way to end this chapter, you make sure the reader will watch for more of the story to find out what happens next. It is well written and the dialogue is marvelous.

You did a great job developing this set up and then the action at the end was high velocity. It was unexpected and startling. You left me wondering about Laura and all of the subplots. Well done and I look forward to more.
