Bravo! Thank you for standing up and saying what many of us think.
Your well written 5/7/5 poem is right on the money. Like him or not - he is the President of the United States of America and the office deserves our respect. We all had to shut up for 8 years and now we need to give this president a chance.

Well done
Janet

Oh my thank you for appreciating this little poem with generous six stars. Thanks a lot Janet for respecting the office of the President which I believe the Democrats are not capable of doing. Let us hope to make America great again with President Trump. God bless and take care.

Whether you like the man Donald Trump is or you don't, you still must respect the position he occupies and the office he holds. I'm sure we have all worked with people we didn't exactly like but we did so while putting our personal preferences aside to get the job done. Therefore I feel that we, as Americans, must stand strong, pull together and support the President.
United we stand, Divided we fall.
Nicely written, Susan.

Hello,

When the leftists say 'love Trumps hate', they mean they have a lot of material to work with, not that they actually love his actions. Hollywood loves this narcissistic man -- lots of material. Did you see Alec Baldwin's depiction of Trump; it's really good.

There is a lot of the USA that is positive, btw.

This short poem definitely paints a perfect scene of the political world, not just in America but in most other places as well. Many thanks for the insightful poem.

I truly liked your wee poem. The media picture complements it perfectly. I don't like Trump either. Like all politicians he is a big liar..

My dear Robina, I like your President, I look at him as the modern Cyrus of the Bible. Cyrus is not the typical Christian during his days but God used him to protect God's people. The fact that Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, I believe, President Trump (of which other American presidents failed to do), was able to make one prophecy in the Bible into a reality. Jerusalem have long been consecrated as the holy land and seat of Christian faith in Israel, as can be read in many chapters in the Bible and President Trump was not cowed in doing so, even with the strong resistance from the Left.

Proof I don't have to agree with your politics to appreciate your poetry.....this fake news environment and contempt breeding speeches curdle my soul but there are not heroes on either side that stand up to the part line(s) an speak truth...so yes,
we've got to worry and wonder why we vote and what we get in the end....

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem. It seems there is no more respect from many for the one in authority. It reminds us how Jesus Christ was treated by the people he came to die for. So many other corrupt politicians are treated with respect they don't deserve.

I have read and do believe in my soul that a tree is always known by the fruit it bear. You will never get an orange from an apple tree, no matter how hard you may try. I also know that politicians make promises that have no intention of keeping, we call that playing politics, and it is true across the board. Anyone who places their hope for the future in men and their abilities to effect lasting change for either good or bad, is wasting their time. In time all things change, change is the only constant that can be counted on. Those without God are without hope really.

Hi, I had to give this a six! I'm so disgusted with the way the left is treating this president, especially after the last one tried to destroy our country from within and is still trying to do so. Brainwashed and biased definitely describe the media. Meanwhile, Trump has been doing a fantastic job!

Thanks for resonating with message of this wee poem, thanks too, there is still hope that America will not be destroyed as long as there are more people like you who still use their brain to analyze events and the news being fed by Leftist anchors of CNN, MSNBC, New York Times and other left-leaning media outlets. For the very generous six stars, thanks from the bottom of my heart. Susan
