Ha, ha. So true. Our minds turn to shopping and romance. How we love the springtime. I enjoyed your fun poem written in rhyming couplets. My one suggestion would be: It's Spring, Baby.
Adding a comma there gives a little pause for clarity.

We went to Orlando a few birthdays ago. I envy you your warm weather. We've been promised more snow here in Calgary. Heck, we could get snow into May. Living by the Rocky mountains doesn't give us much in the way of warm weather.

I like this sarcastic witty poem about spring sales and spending money. It shows us the whimsy of nature and maybe reminds us of our greed. It also reminds us that buying things on sale is still spending money that could be saved if you don't really need what you are buying.

Exceptional

The work reminisces the joy the spring season brings to bear in the lives of people, and how this is suddenly cut short by an unexpected lingering of the winter season which was perceived to have gone.

The work highlights how cherished the spring season is, and how the protagonist wanted to take advantage of it in realising her long suspended shopping list, when like an alligator trashed, the winter season lingered back into action, thus suspending an about to happen shopping spree.

The work earns its texture through the use of rhymes, simile and imagery.

Outstanding work! Keep the flag flying!
