-Very nice image and presentation.
-Syllable count is good.
-You have all the requirements
of a haiku, including nature imagery
and the kigo.
-The satori is also good.
-Good luck in the contest, Zanya.

I love that picture :) I'm in a good mood today because our snow is finally melting. We're to get seasonal high temperatures this week which should melt every last snowflake. Yay! So I love everything about this haiku. Best wishes in the contest.

So very true, the little green shoots start popping about the same the ice starts melting and the birds come singing. Love the visual and the perfect statement for your Haiku. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the Contest! Sherman541

This speaks a nice and interesting observation of seasonal rhythm of Nature in action as winter snow melts and tiny green shoots by degrees come up; well worded, well done. Thank you for sharing this with us. Good luck with the contest. KEEP WRITING, INSPIRE CHANGING. DR ALCREATOR

After two snowstorms and a possible third one this weekend here in New England, I am looking forward to some change in rhythm! Little green shoots would be a welcome sight! Great haiku.
