Well Nox I am so sorry to hear about your long-lost friend Dobby and the good times that you miss having shared with him. I do hope you begin to feel better as time goes on as the saying goes, Time heals all wounds. I hope it certainly does heals yours soon. Just try to get you one of those big bones and all that it reminisce over the good times that you had with your friend and eventually you'll feel better you might not get over it but you'll feel better about it. Maybe if you do something new like bury a bone in the backyard that might take your mind off of it. But in the meantime just cherish the memories you had with them while he was with you okay

Nice poem showing the grief of a dog when his I buddy dies. I have seen dogs like this. They also miss their people who die. A dog could also be sad even when a cat buddy dies. You captured it well. Great entry for the contest. Good luck with it. The poem flowed well. The message was clear. You did present it from the viewpoint of the animal which is the point of the contest. Thank you for sharing

Thank you for sharing your entry in the Become the Animal contest. Your creation of the dog's thoughts as he lies on the floor thinking doggy thoughts about his friend is well worded, and you can almost see it in a cartoon bubble over the dog's head.

Good luck in the contest,

~patty~
