Hi, Yvonne. I have to say I don't particularly like this form - the rhyme scheme seems a little odd and gives a sense of not completing.
That being said, I do like the whimsical nature of your poem- it seems such a trivial matter, but to a small child it could be devastating and you have captured that nicely. The ending is cute, too. There are socks - just not a pair!

I'm not fond of it either. It was hard to write because it didn't seem to fit together. But I like trying new things. I'm game for anything once. I'm glad you liked the subject matter. Thank you for reviewing. 8-)

(smile:) this is very cute Yvonne. I am not sure what a Magic 9 poem looks like but this is fun and has great rhyme. My son (31) still doesn't wear matching socks. lol.

LOL. When I picked up my granddaughter the other day, I notice a teacher dressed very weirdly. It was non-matching socks day. I hope it doesn't catch on. Of course, it would be great for us who have only one sock to a pair. lol
