This reminds me of a poem I wrote about tethered horses. It is also the second tome tonight that I have seen the image you used. The message is clear. He wants to raise a fu head of steam, cause a splash and let himself go. A delightful idea. Thank you for sharing. Best of luck with your reviews

Hi, Trisha;
Such a lovely poem about the summer waves. It has been such a long time since I walked on the beach and actually got wet in the waves. (You know what it is like on the northern Pacific coast.) Growing up in New Jersey with miles of beaches, I miss the Atlantic Ocean and body-surfing the waves,

Beautifully written personification piece that parallels the wonderful experience of spreading your wings on the beach, to gallop and play as if there is no other soul around - and you can just be you! Very nicely done!
