This 5-7-5 about guns, A (Lady's / Ladies') Piece, has the correct syllable count and puts a lead-lender in the hands of somebody's mom's mom. Don't knock.

A nice prairie feel to this poem... speaking of days past and the routine use of guns for needed protection. In more innocent days it did not spark fear or angst the way our modern day news and views do! Thanks for a trip to the past.
