I think for the topic of death in nature, the one you chose is a good topic. I am not sure I see the flames of glory, though I understand what you are saying. When we die he will be there with us in all his glory. It is a perfect topic and perfect 5/7/5 poem for the contest. I have told several people, you have all written such perfect poems on this topic, I am glad I do not have to choose the winner. Good Luck and Best Wishes in the Contest! Sherman541

Do I need a more brilliant picture of fall color? Or do you believe that humans won't die in flames of glory when we go to heaven? I was trying to say that If God sends the leaves out in such flames, will he not do the same for us? Do you like this better...

I do actually like this version better and I think it would also better match your picture and convey the message you trying to send. As I stated, I do understand God and his Glory, but I do really believe this second version is a much better version. ;) If you change or not, Again Good Luck and Best Wishes.
