Good job. One of my favorite movies. I love film noir. So many good ones. Have you seen 'Sudden Fear' and oldy but goody with Jack Palance, Joan Crawford, and Gloria Grahame (my favorite vamp)? Marilyn

This 5-7-5 movie review, The Maltese Falcon, has the correct syllable count and hints to the plot and the dark and closeup angles of the directors choice of filming. Nice.

You have written a very good 575 entry for the Movie Review Contest. I just recently saw this one for the first time. I like old movies and try to catch the classics on Turner Classic Movies. You have captured just what this movie is about. Nice work. Good luck in the competition!

One of my all-time favorite "Film Noirs." There is so much to appreciate about this film. In fact, I watch it at least once a year! As for your 5/7/5 movie review, you "nailed it." Very creative and crisp. Best wishes in the contest!

    Thank you for your wonderful praise. When my wife and I bought our first house, I took a trip to Vegas and came back with a framed poster of MF which we hung in our living room. We watched that film at least once a month on the old VHS machine when the kids were babies and we could not afford a babysitter.

You nailed this movie with your 5-7-5 poem review. It demonstrates excellent, thoughtful word choices. I like the dark motif that you manage to carry out in your so few syllables. This is simply a good job.
