Very understandable verse. Rhyme and rhythm are there. A father's anguish is evident by the verdant word painting which is presented. A bitter response to his heartfelt plea.

Hello Ricky1024
I read your poem of when your were looking for your son deceased the reaper with his
Evil Santa of Clause! would say
Come now with me Meer and Meek Mortal!"
"Here, take My Boney White and Ebony Hand!"

then how in your closing of how when God speaks up to say-
"I HAVE YOUR ONLY SON JASON NOW, AND HE IS HERE WITH ME...
"AND, ONE, FINE, OF DAY...
"WHEN YOUR TIME HAS COME HERE TO STAY..

This poem was very sad and believable. I hope it is poetic liberty and not real life. If it is reality, I am very sorry for your loss. I felt every word of this poem and thank you for sharing.

This speaks about the death of son, feeling of as cold as ice, and walking to meet and traced him in heaven; well said, well done. Thank you for sharing this with us. KEEP WRITING, TIP CHANGING. DR ALCREATOR

What a sad a story? Your title, "As Cold As Ice" fitted your writing so well. I'm not sure it this is a real story. What I do know, like you said, "God is always there for those who love Him". Satan is evil. He cares for only those who will turn their back on Christ. Of course, death leaves anyone cold and feelings are numb. Taking a son or daughter is hard, but harder when the devil is telling you, he's waiting for you. He's laughing at you, is painful! This is a powerful story of angry and helplessness. Yes, we are mortals, as stated in this story. Your words are touching with so much energy and no empathy from Satan. You did a good job and sharing how difficult it is to lose your only son. Our God lost His only son also.
Your story shares a father defenselessness and powerless hope in the loss of his only son. Also, the photo was is a good choice! A very touching story. Good luck.
Thanks
