What a sweet story! Never underestimate the imagination of a child! My own son had an imaginary friend when he was just a little boy. Tad bit scary, but CHOCHEE visited our home for at least a year!
Two nits: faun = fawn...
And every time a speaker speaks, begin a new line.

Just to let you know, a faun is a mythical rural deity having a human shape with the ears, horns, tail, and the hind legs of a goat. I'll edit my speaker's beginning lines.
