Thank you for sharing the Amanda Pinch form, especially since I am enamored with alliteration. I relished your photograph of the statue that inspired you. I admired your rhymes and quote, and found the piece a compelling ekphrastic poem. Cheers- Joan

Thank you Joan. Hope the pinch didn't hurt. Lol. Glad you found the alliteration and the statue compelling. As you ekphrasticism is my thing.

I like your interpretation of the sculpture. This looks very complicated, but you're a master at those.

Good internal rhyming. It appears you've done the form justice.

Well I am not surprised she is looking upset. She appears to have lost her bra! What is more it looks as if her skirt will shortly follow. The structure reminds me somewhat of my symmetrina.

Hah! My thoughts exactly concerning her attire. Yes, I think the format is similar to several other forms I've seen. Your symmetrina is certainly one..

She breached the sky in leaping hurl? Looks like a stone monument of a frustrated girl who jumped off a ledge. Indeed, life will get you down by hurling all of its problems at you, and these times will make you "JUMP." Glad I ain't jumped! liberty justice

A very well-written Amanda's pinch poem about a very u iqur statue of the girl in the Sculpture park. It seemsvthat she protect herself from the elements of nature all in vain.

This speaks a socially victimized girl was never given justice; she left for good; well said, well done. Thank you for sharing this with us. KEEP WRITING, TIP CHANGING. DR ALCREATOR

You seem to be able to conjure up new forms from a limitless store! This is another that I've not heard of! This is an interesting interpretation of the attitude struck in this statue. The addition of in-line rhyming to supplement the alliteration gives a haunting feel to the poem.

Thank you Tony. Yes, I found quite a store of them on the AllPoetry site. I'm picking some that I find most interesting. I am pleased that you like my interpretation and picked up on the in-line rhyme addition.

The poem is good, but it starts me out confused in the first line, since it feels like there's words missing in order to fit the syllable count. The rest reads fine, but as many times as I re-read the first line, I still can't understand it.

Thank you Samantha. I was referring to the swirling wind, as well as the swirling thoughts in her head, as her world was crashing in on her. I hope that helps.

It's funny how a statue can bring forth such thoughts and then fall into the words on a page when a poet sets eyes on these subjects, your imagination ran wild here, love Dolly x
