You were at a very impressionable age when you saw that movie which was meant for your young eyes. That was a cruel trick your siblings played. I suggest you confront them with the damage they did. I'm sure a hypnotherapist could help you conquer this. Maybe take that fake hand and burn it-in your mind, if need be. Or visualize the fangs of a dog biting it.

It's funny how a movie in our young lives can stay with us for a lifetime. You wrote an interesting poem. It was quite believable. I would rather have it in black and white, it would be easier to read. Good luck, in the contest. The kurlman

We all have our things. My sister thought she saw a foot in the basement when she went down to do laundry the one night. You did a great job with this and I would also be frightened of a hand just hanging out. Like I said my sister had a foot.
