Awwwwwwwww, what a sweet story, you two, even though you are bickering. I know, just by looking at the picture your mommy took that you are as close as two peas in a pod. You'd miss each other terribly if one of you got a separate room.

Oh, yes, we would. We hug each other all the time. Thank you for the nice things you said.

Excellent dialog between the two cats, I can hear their conversation and it is definitely felines talking. I like how they think an ark like Noah's ark is being built, clever and creative.

Damommy, :)
Your babies are so cute! I love this story; I do have a suggestion -- that you use quotes, so we can tell the difference of how is talking.
Thank you, for writing this.

Nice.

I mean, reallllly nice. Like, Hilton nice.

Lucky cats (in your imagination only, or real life, too?)

I have a dream place for dogs, too. If only I had the money and health to make it a reality.

That would be nice to be able to build things like that. Cats are real, building plans are imaginary. Thank you for reviewing. I'm glad you liked it.

Hi, Yvonne;
I did taxes for a woman who actually built something like this in her house. It was crazy - she had about twenty cats, and yet when you walked into her house, it was clean and there wasn't a hint of the smell of a litterbox.

I always thought I would like to have a cat's den like that one, but then I switched to dogs about six years ago. I wonder if I will ever have a cat again...

Well, we just changed places, you and I. I used to have dogs. Everyone says if they didn't the cats, they'd never know I had any. I take that as a compliment. I always have eight or ten. It takes a good bit of work but I love them.

This is so cute. I love that photo of them curled up in a box. My favorite line has to be...

Get your foot out of my ear.

LOL! Too bad you can't really build such a playhouse. Sounds like fun. :)

They'd love it, I'm sure. But they don't need another house. They have mine. lol

    Thank you. 8-)

You'd better send those uncles over here. Paddy would like one of those and it might keep him out bof the cobwebs. I preferred this to the one you did with three speakers. This was much easier to keep track of. you are going to have your work cut out with all those litter trays to service. I'll be glad when Paddy can use the flap to go outside for the essential services. This was a most enjoyable piece to read.

Thank you. So Paddy is going to be an inside/outside cat. We can't do that here. Outside cats don't last long. They get run over or develop diseases, etc.

Has Paddy picked out his place in the bed yet? I'd love to hear more about him.

The nearest black-top road is a mile away and he can probasbly outrun a fox to the nearest tree. He has to stay in for four weeks otherwise he might wander but after that like all the others I have had he will come and go through the cat flap as he pleases. Despite having a comfy bed of his own on a chair protected on three sides in the kitchen at the moment he prefers to sleep beneath said shair, but has started coming out of his own accord when I come in and call his name. In the evening he joins me in the lounge. I have yet to introduce him to 'upstairs'. During the day he favours the window ledges where he can look out over the fields.

I don't know about a cat's home, that would suit me perfectly, Yvonne! How much to you charge a night B&B? LOL. I'm sure your cats have you wrapped around their little paws! lol. I loved this little story. I have a photo of my two cats cuddled up together like that in their bed, they were brother and sister, both in Kitty Heaven now, waiting for me to go. I'll have to join this club, you write some lovely stories, my friend, I just wish I had a six left, you always deserve one. :) Sandra xxx

Thank you so much, Sandra. My B&B is free, so come on. I don't have to build them a house. They already have mine. lol

It would be such fun to meet up. Bit it's too far for me to fly, and too much money to get there. :(

I know. I think about it, but I can't do it either. We'll just have to be friends via email and FS. Love you.

Wouldn't it be great if we DID have the means and extra funds to build our pets such a place, Yvonne?
Endeavour and Tucker described the "ark" quite well.
With your kind assistance, of course, lol.

Hi Yvonne, this is a clever post on Noah's Ark for the stray cats. Big litter boxes and three floors would be a cat's dream.

I'm guessing not. Lol You're welcome.
