Thank you for making my day a joyful one - I could name a few people I discovered in your descriptions of the narciccistic personality.

And had a good laugh in the bargain.

*Being preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate ~ I think I'm guilty of all these EXCEPT the success and perfect mate.

*Believing that they are superior and can only be understood by or associate with equally special people ~ this could be the reason I joined FanStory...

Yes, these are my favorite kind of people to have entered my life. I only have to spend a short time with them to realize they are NOT worth my time. It is kind of sad because they usually crave attention they will never receive in today's busy world,

Thank you so much for this. I know people who certainly fit this bill. Glad there is a name for it with characteristics to watch out for. I need to read more chapters in your book. I have 2 psychiatrists in my family. Give me something to talk about.

Wow, that is a long list and I thought to be a narcistic only mean that you praise our beauty highly and show of. I don't think all narcistic like to use people but I never meet a narcissist before
