This is to serve as a review for both parts 1 and 2. Thanks, I needed that! I asked for a servants heart, and vowed to gladly serve. I see that God is working things for our good, improved relationships and healing. My problem is the 'gladly' part of service. That's the part I'm not so good at. Thank you for your words on this subject. They really hit home. Blessings... Christy

But if you say yes, you will never regret it, but it does require trust, and maybe a bridge too far. Thank you for the wonderful review, blessings, Roy

Hi, Roy;
A wonderful reminder that we are to be servants first, and treat our fellow man as He did. So many folks believe they must be served in this world; they forget they are just fellow travelers on this earth,

Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
"Your love and worship raises me to rule upon my throne,
for that is why I share my wealth, and take you for my own.
I give you life, remove all strife, to set you free from sin,
I call you friend and brother, kin, your freedom -- I will win."
Gosh this is magnificent. It sounds as if it is directly from the bible but more polished- amazing. Well done as usual Bill xx love Meia

Unfortunately, Roy, this great wisdom is seldom or never heeded , or carried out, in this day and time, even by most who know God. It seems this world would be a better place if such was the norm.
My beast wishes.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the entirety of your well written follow up to the first part of this spiritually themed piece, I especially liked the internal rhyme you included in the poem.
Excellent work as always, Roy.
Blessings...

I have no more stars to give
You captured my attention as I looked at the artwork you post
It is a perfect match.
Each line touched me dearly, and warmed my soul this chilly morning. after reading part 2 I had to find pat one

A very well-written poem about the task God gives us, it is not always the choice we would make, but if we obey and trust Him in His guidance we will flourish and get respect from others.

A great piece of work Roy - I love the story. I like the way this is written - the language you use, very down to earth. Lovely quote from Luke14:10 - so wise - if you are at the bottom there is only one way to go, and that's up. A lovely read - you are so lucky in your faith. Dorothy

Comment from Lloyd T. Okoko
The work reminisces a rapprochement with God that causes the protagonist who had earlier refused wearing the uniform of a servant to now wear it with pride and a high sense of dignity.
The work highlights his earlier demeaning demeanor on the thought of wearing such a uniform and his latter stand to crave for it with pride, occasioned by his tutelage under the Lord, Jesus Christ.
The work earns its texture through the use of rhymes, rhetorics and imagery.
Outstanding work! Keep the flag flying!
