I had to have a little laugh at this. Written with a true servant's heart and one who has clearly heard the commanding but gentle tones of the spirit. Loved this piece! Nicely done :)

Yep, that was the way it is, "be careful what you ask for..." But God has put me into areas were I can use those gifts He's given me, Responding to His voice on what He actually says, and what one thinks He says, is like Sarah helping God with Hagar producing Ismael. I love the idea you bring up about being a servant. I'm afraid it's something a lot of people forget about when they get into a high position. They forget that the greatest of us all bathed the feet of his disciples. It's a great reminder.

I love this, as I've done--and happily--some of those most horrible chores: living in Haiti in nastiness, cleaning up the vomit of dying friends, etc. I was never more joyful.

Enjoyed the poem and out of 6's. Your poem to me contained more than one message. One is in the first stanza, a second in stanza two and three and a third in the fourth stanza I think I understand the first two, but the third has me scratching my head.?????
